Duncan Goose, the founder of Global Ethics and the brand One Water, returns to ProGRESS to talk about what has happened in the 12 months since we last spoke, including why he undertook a round Britain road trip to echo the world tour he was on more than 20 years ago that changed his career direction.
We also spoke about tracking down the girl (now woman) in Africa who sparked Duncan's mission to bring water to communities living in extreme poverty, and made him so determined to make his plan a success.
Duncan explains why One Water has recently changed its logo and has a fresh new look. There's a further career insight when Duncan reveals how getting back on his motorbike has inspired him to take that part of his life up a gear.
Listen out for the fun moment, when Duncan reveals why, after years of keeping his accolades and awards to himself, he has decided to add letters after his name and job title.
One Water gives away its profits to projects that provide clean drinking water to communities and with 5 million lives changed and more standpipes planned for the future, it is definitely a success story. In addition, it was one of the founding B Corporations in the UK, follows sustainability standards that align with its values, and is also supporting reforestation in Malawi.
